Be authentic. But don’t do that. Do this instead.
Find a pain point and give a solution.
Write like your talking to your best friend.
Oy, so much advice! At what point does it all become chatter? White noise? Frankly, bullshit. At what point does it all become bullshit? Ha!
I don’t know. I have no idea. I really don’t. Do you?
The life of an entrepreneur is a wonderful thing. Wonderful like walking a tightrope with no balance bar, much less a net. I call myself an entrepreneur anyway. That’s the normal name we are called. And by we, I mean people that are answering the call to break out of their usual box.
Never in my 50 something years did I ever want to create my own success. I was perfectly contented to go to a job and put in my eight knowing the paycheck was going to be deposited at regular intervals. (I’m still doing that too, btw.)
Have you heard anything about a shift happening? Or needing to happen? A paradigm shift? Well, I shifted.
It didn’t happen overnight. On the other hand, it sometimes feels like it did. But it didn’t really.
Has life ever handed you a whole fucking bushel of lemons? Oh ya, I hear you sister.
What my bushel of lemons taught me was to feel the feels. All the feels. Good and bad. I’ve learned too that I can feel bad – and – I have the power to change it.
– I. Have. The. Power. To Change.
And – So. Do. You.
You don’t have to know a single thing either. Not consciously anyway. Did you know that we are only conscious of 3% of our brain activity? The other 97% does things like grow our hair, modulate body temperature, digest food, breathe.
The other 97% of our brain activity knows how to keep us alive. If we can get out skimpy little 3% (which is our ego, btw) to be quiet for a time, then our bodies can take over.
So, you don’t have to know a single thing. All you have to do is be quiet and listen to what’s going on inside. Not in your head though. When your mind/head/thoughts/ego wants to take back control, go back to listening to your body.
Some people call this meditating. That’s what I call it, but it’s your trip. Do what feels right for you.
That’s all the deep thoughts (haha, right….) I have for now.
Thanks for reading. I would love to hear your thoughts if you wanna leave a comment.
